Oaking – 18 months in a selection of 40% new, 60% 2nd barrels. 95% French, 5% American oak.
Polished cassis, loads of spice with silky tannins and smokey finish.
The winemaker suggests that the Shiraz can be enjoyed now but will definitely improve with bottle age (up until 10 years from vintage) and compliments the following foods: Venison, Ostrich, Beef, Stews
